1. Do I need an account to browse listings?
No account is required — anyone can search and view available rooms or properties.
2. How do I contact landlords or agents?
Each listing includes the contact details provided by the advertiser. You can reach out directly via phone, email, or messaging app (if shared).
3. Are the listings verified?
We do our best to reduce spam and duplicate ads, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of each listing. Please:
- Verify the property before making payments.
- Meet the landlord/agent in person when possible.
- Report suspicious listings to [email protected]
4. Do I need to pay RoomGrabs to rent a property?
No. RoomGrabs does not charge tenants any fee for browsing or contacting landlords. Any rental agreements and payments are strictly between you and the advertiser.
5. How long do listings stay online?
Listings remain active for at least 30 days, unless removed earlier by the admin. Listings may be removed without prior notice if they are found to violate our rules.
For Landlords / Agents
1. Do I need an account to post a listing?
Yes. You must sign up for a free account to create and manage your listings.
2. How many ads can I post?
Each user can post up to 2 ads per day for free. This limit ensures fair use and prevents spam.
3. Can I repost or refresh the same property?
At the moment, we do not allow ad refresh, edits, or updates.
If you want to make changes, you must delete the old post and create a new listing.
4. Why was my ad moved to “Draft” or removed?
Your listing may be flagged if:
- The title or description is too similar to an existing post.
- The images uploaded match another listing.
- The post violates our Terms of Use.
5. How long will my ad stay active?
Ads remain online for at least 30 days. However, the admin reserves the right to remove any post without prior notice.
6. How do I edit or delete my ad?
Edit: Not allowed. Please ensure all details are correct before submitting.
Delete: Log in → go to Dashboard → select the listing → click Delete.
7. Is posting an ad really free?
Yes! Posting is free, with a limit of 2 ads per day. In the future, we may introduce optional premium features (highlighted ads, top placement, etc.).
